The only rotten part about having a birthday on Christmas Eve is having a birthday on Christmas Eve.

Everyone doubles up on presents (do I send you a Christmas gift with a Happy Birthday card? Didn't think so), everyone sings Christmas carols instead of the birthday song, and I have to share it with Santa. And Jesus. Really, everyone with birthdays not on holidays, you've no idea how good you have it.

I can't believe I'm actually here, for Christmas, and not off in some camp, freezing my bullocks off.

I hope you are doing good, beating some sense into little buggers? Not that I think you'd really have to do that.

Oh, I didn't mean it that way, Char! Just a gripe, I reckon. I don't need or want gifts.

I can't believe you're here for Christmas too. We ought to see each other soon. I miss hanging around with you.
